Welcome to Progressive Animal Healthcare! We are a full service veterinary hospital located in the Strawberry Hill area of Paducah, Kentucky, behind Cunningham and Freeman Dental. We invite you to explore our website, but also encourage you to come visit us so you can experience our new facility in person.

For New Clients:
For all new clients, we require a deposit before scheduling an appointment with our doctor: $40 for a routine examination and $80 for a surgery. This deposit will be placed on your account and will be used towards your total when checking out during your visit. We require at least a 24 hour cancellation or rescheduling notice. Should one not show up to the appointment or changes the appointment less than 24 hours in advance, that deposit will be lost and a separate deposit would have to be placed before scheduling another appointment. To schedule your pet for an appointment, please call the office at 270-558-3070. We look forward to providing your pet with the best possible care!

SERVICES
WELLNESS EXAMS
We truly customize care for your pet and place a strong emphasis on preventative care. Depending on the age, breed or underlying health issues of your pet, we may recommend annual or bi-annual physical exams.
DENTAL CARE
Our practice has a large dental suite with dental radiographs and surgical extraction capability. Pets often do not show signs of oral pain and we have the ability to look below the gumline to find hidden disease and discomfort.
MICROCHIPPING
We offer AVID microchipping. This is a universal microchip that any chip reader can recognize. We also include lifetime registration at the time the chip is placed.
VACCINATIONS
We offer customized vaccine protocols based upon your pet's lifestyle. We also offer non-adjuvanted feline vaccines to increase safety.
SURGERY
We offer an array of surgical services from routine to specialized. Our surgical suite is equipped with a state of the art anesthetic monitor and ventilator to help ensure your pet's safety while under anesthesia.
SICK VISITS
Unfortunately sometimes our pets get sick and we need to do testing to determine the cause. Our hospital is equipped to perform in house bloodwork, x-rays and ultrasound to find an answer quickly and get your pet back to feeling better.
ABOUT
OUR DOCTOR
Dr. Amy Kerley was born and raised in Charleston, SC and has always had a love for animals from a young age. She graduated from Clemson University in 2005 with a B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. She then attended veterinary school at University of Georgia where she graduated in 2009 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation she worked as a small animal veterinarian in Lexington, KY and Charleston, SC before moving to Paducah, which is her husband's hometown. She worked locally at multiple practices for several years before opening Progressive Animal Healthcare. She is glad to be able to call Paducah home.
